Beyond the Ball is ramping up for its Winter League 2009 at Little Village/Lawndale High School. The high school students involved in our winter league will do much more than just play ball—they will run the league.

Students will be selected as captains, and those captains will draft their teams and coach them throughout the season. They have the responsibility of making sure their team members know their game schedule and arrive on time and ready to play.

Beyond that, other students will form the league infrastructure, keeping statistics of games, creating their own videos and blogs, and posting it all online.
